• Daymeion Hughes - my favorite Cal football player - has won the Lott Trophy.

• How impressive are the Lakers? They picked up right where they left off at the end of last season. If the Lakers make 5th seed or better, and Kobe averages around at least 26/6/6-ish, then Kobe is the MVP this season without a doubt.
  
• How good are the big-name NFL rookies this year? Vince Young, Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart... Very very good. And how dumb are the Texans for not drafting Young or Bush... Very very dumb.
  
• I have just purchased my latest dream-purchase: Garmin Nuvi 350. Amazon.com had it for $449.99 + no tax + shipping (very good deal). I had $375 worth of gift certificates that I got from work. My final price was $81.16.
  I was gonna save my gift certificates to get the new PS3, but then I realized that I don't have a HDTV - which makes the PS3 pretty useless. Also, I remembered pastor E's message from this past Sunday, so I just decided I don't need the new PS3. But this new beauty of mine - I absolutely need. I can't count how many times I've been lost in the city trying to find my way around all the one-way streets and the not-so-straight streets that intersect streets that I swear were parallel to the street I'm on just a moment ago. Now I will never get lost again in SF - or anywhere else, for that matter. Oh, by the way, this thing is smaller than a deck of cards. Yeah baby!!!
